Bell Gardens, CA Real Estate
Bell Gardens is one of the larger cities in Los Angeles, with approximately 40,000 residents. Settled continuously since prehistoric times, the land has proved popular and habitable because of the mild weather, excellent farmland, and abundance of local vegetation. Serving primarily as a cattle plantation in the 1800s, the wartime demands of the early 20th century brought an industrial boom to the area. This led to the area's general conversion to a suburban town of single-family dwellings, both houses and apartments, with an emphasis on renting instead of owning. As such, most of the real estate agents in Bell Gardens work on ensuring that clients can find a good place to stay at an affordable rate. The few houses which go on sale in the area are affordable and moderately sized, emphasizing the working-class nature of the neighborhood.
