Want to get an early drink and a snack but can't find an open reservation at a nice restaurant? Then find a seat at the bar and take advantage of one of these 5 great happy hour deals on the east side of Los Angeles. Because the only thing that tastes better than a crisp glass of white wine after a long day at work is one that you bought at a discount!

1. Atrium

Everyday 4PM-6PM Daily

The happy hour at this beautiful restaurant in Los Feliz is the perfect place to go for date night. It's steps away from The Los Feliz 3 movie theater and a very short drive to The Greek if you have tickets to a concert. They have an extensive HH menu including food, cocktails, and wine. The crispy BBQ dusted fingerling potatoes with french onion dip is to die for, but their market crudite with whipped ranch burrata is great if you're trying to be healthy. Pair either with an $8 margarita.

2. The Bun Shop

M-F: 4PM-7PM

Th-Sat: 10PM-2AM

If you find yourself doing some karaoke in Koreatown, The Bun Shoppe is a perfect place to go afterwards for some late night dining. Their bao buns are delicious, and you can get any 3 buns for $10 plus $1 off any sides and beer, wine, and soju.

3. Bar Calo

Everyday 4PM-7PM

For a great happy hour cocktail for only $10, check out Bar Calo in Echo Park. The atmosphere here is hip and romantic so it's another great date night location. In addition to their mezcal and tequila cocktails, they have food specials including guacamole, ceviche, and fried brussel sprouts. They also have pretty respectable portions so you can eat pretty well for a nice price.

4. Sawyer

Everyday 3PM-6PM

This hip Silver Lake spot is the perfect place to go for a little day drinking and eating on sunny Saturday. For $16 you can get a half dozen oysters plus a glass of wine, beer, or, if you're really feeling flirty, a frose cocktail from their slushy machine. They also have a burger or friend chicken sandwich for $11 on the happy hour menu. Both are great, but the friend chicken is unimpeachable.

5. Melody

T-Sun: 5PM-7PM

M: 5-11PM

Melody in Virgil Village has a beautiful indoor/outdoor space that's perfect if you need to find a spot to bring a large group to. Melody used to have their own in-house dining menu, but now they do food pop-ups every night with different chefs. For happy hour, expect discounts on their extensive assortment of natural wine and beers.
