In the summer months, families frequent the island's Mother's Beach, which includes washroom facilities and playground equipment. Naples Island real estate includes a handful of retail shops including several beauty salons, Rite-Aid pharmacy and Morry's, a unique liquor shop that has been a landmark in Long Beach for decades. There are several upscale restaurants including Nico's, which is owned by Christy Bono, the older daughter of singers Sonny and Cher.
