Wrigley Homes

Wrigley real estate was among the first to be established in Long Beach. Its original gridiron subdivision pattern was established in 1905. Wrigley homes include traditional, craftsman and Spanish styles with floor plans that measure 1,300 square feet and more.

Residents maintain a strong neighborhood association that has regularly events such as a “Taste of Wrigley,” when neighbors all dined at Buono's, a 32-year-old pizza restaurant with two other locations. The district is bounded on the north by Interstate 405, Pacific Coast Highway, Pacific Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard. The neighborhood includes Veteran's Park and access to Blue Line light rail transportation to Los Angeles. The new Wrigley Marketplace shopping district, a joint venture between Long Beach and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, includes stores such as Albertson's, Foot Action, Carl's Jr. and Starbucks plus a park-and-ride facility for Blue Line commuters.
