It has operated in downtown Eureka since 1922 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel was built through a community effort, with more than 600 local investors, and its 1922 dedication drew over 2,000 guests. The 115-room, full-service hotel operates under the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, an Upper Midscale soft brand. The flag keeps the property's historic identity while giving it access to Wyndham's reservation and loyalty network. The four-story, 93,000 SF building sits on approximately 1.81 acres across three parcels: the hotel parcel and two separate parking-lot parcels. It is zoned CC-LW and was renovated in 2021.
